FabGolf 101

Wednesdays 10 – 12 yrs. 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
9/13- 11/15

This is an introductory program to new golfers that would  learn swing fundamentals (driving, iron play, chipping and putting), terminology, etiquette, and course play.  Golfers will have opportunities to explore the STEAM/Golf connection (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) in addition to mentorship, networking, and service learning.  Programming runs September through June, meeting 2 times per week. 

Fall Cooking Immersion

Wednesdays 3:30 – 5:30 9/27 -11/15

Learn the basics of cooking and what goes into making a dish. Learners will have the opportunity to understand handwashing, food safety, flavor, texture, flexible and precise recipes, knife cuts, and how to make cooking fun! 

Teen Open Lab / Study Hall

Tuesdays 5:00-7:00 9/28 – 11/16

Thursday Open Fab Lab for all teen interns and high school age Fab Learners to make, play, study, review work, ask for guidance, or just be a safe place to hang out.

FabGolf PGA Jr.

Tuesday & Thursday  Ages  14-17  
9/12 – 11/16

Programming for learners who are ready to go deeper into golf and test their skills in a competitive setting. Golfers will have opportunities to explore the STEAM/Golf connection (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) in addition to mentorship, career exploration, networking, and service learning.  Programming runs September through June, meeting 2 times per week, with weekend match play. 

Art Club

Tuesdays 3:00-4:30 9/28 – 11/16

Art programming for all ages and skill levels. Learn the basics of jewelry making, painting, and more, while exploring Newport’s Art Scene. Spend time creating your own art, and visit Newport’s own local artists-Newport Art Museum, Newport Art House, Jamestown Art Center, various galleries.
