3rd Annual FabGolf Outing

After such a great FabGolf Outing last August, we are excited to invite you to this year’s event on Monday, August 7, 2023, at Wanumetonomy. We plan to, again, limit the number of golfers to keep the pace of play brisk, and we wanted to give you “first dibbs.”    

Because of your support last year, FabGolf has grown into a top-notch program. You helped us:

• Expose over 50 urban youth to the game of golf.
• Connect 10 adults with developmental disabilities to golf.
• Expose youth to 14 golf related careers.
• Fund over 200 hours of course time.
• Keep youth engaged all winter long three days a week.
• Create countless friendships!

Since last August, we are pleased to announce FabNewport’s membership into the PGA Junior League, a program introducing newcomers to competitive match play. This past winter Orlando Peace, Director of FabGolf, was certified as an  official PGA Coach.  Our 2nd year of our New England Golf Mini-Tour has taken off with around 25 players competing all year, ever other week or two.
